Current agreements
Travelling with Iberia
Thanks to our codeshare agreements with Iberia, we are able to offer more flights and destinations. The Barcelona-Madrid route has up to 26 flights a day.
Below you can find the features of flights booked through Vueling but operated by Iberia:
Check-in and Boarding Passes
- Direct Iberia flight: Online check-in is available from 24 hours before departure. You'll be redirected to the Iberia website from our website's online check-in page to get your boarding passes. If you wish, you can also check in at the airport on the day of your flight. In both cases, your seats will be allocated free of charge.
- Connecting flights with one leg of the journey operated by Vueling and another by Iberia: You can get your boarding passes on the day of the flight at the check-in desks of the airline operating the first leg of the journey.
Baggage
- Hand luggage: All codeshare flights with Iberia allow one carry-on bag and one personal item. On connecting flights with legs operated by different airlines, the most restrictive policy of the two airlines as regards baggage allowance shall apply to both legs.
- Checked baggage: The number of checked bags included in your booking depends on the fare you've booked. If you wish to add more baggage, you can do so at the airline's check-in desk on the day the flight. Remember that the weight limit for each checked bag is 23 kg.
- Special luggage: If you wish, you can book special luggage at the airport on the day of your flight.
